I get a staking error when unstaking in the ShareRing Me app

What to try when unstaking fails in the Me app, and how to find your SHR after the token migration.

Written by Toon

If unstaking in the ShareRing Me app shows a staking error, try these steps first.

1. Update the app

Install the latest version of ShareRing Me and try again.

2. Check the unbonding period

Unstaked tokens go through an unbonding period before they are available. See Unbonding in this collection.

  • Unstaking takes 21 days for every stake. Long-term stakes follow the same 21 days.

  • After 21 days, the SHR returns to your wallet.

  • A wallet can have up to 7 unbonding entries at once.

  • The most common cause of the error is not having enough SHR in the wallet to pay for the unstake. Sometimes it is a temporary network issue. Wait a moment and try again.

3. Find your tokens after the migration

  • Your assets appear in ShareRing Me, in the Wallet Me Module.

  • The 2025 migration was on ERC20 (Ethereum). It does not affect SHR on ShareLedger.

  • To see the new SHR token in your Ethereum wallet, add it as a custom token on Ethereum mainnet using this contract address: 0x192675d1e131b9e339f16603e21b01a845d8c21e

  • To move an old balance, send 0 SHR from your own address to your own address. The new contract then credits your old balance to you.

4. Contact support

If the error continues, send us:

  • A screenshot of the error

  • Your wallet address

  • The app version and phone model

  • The approximate date and amount of the stake

Never share your recovery phrase or private key with anyone, including support.
