ShareLedger is The Identity Chain (blockchain) being actively developed by ShareRing Foundation. This is the blockchain where your on-chain identities reside and is the underlying ledger (proof) of document verification which cryptographic hashes are kept to ensure documents have not been tampered with after verification.

ShareLedger is also where off-chain identities are anchored. After ShareLedger has verified a user’s credential, an asynchronous hash is generated. This cryptographic hash is used as a proof the credentials haven’t been tampered with since ShareRing verified them.

Developers can build their own decentralized applications, and deploy smart contracts to interact with digital identities.
